Weekly Kirtan - ISKCON Swindon

Weekly Kirtan at ISKCON Swindon

Join Us for an Evening of Devotion and Joy!

Every Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we gather at Swindon Hindu Temple to immerse ourselves in the transcendental vibration of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra through melodious kirtan. This weekly session is open to everyone—whether you are new to kirtan or a regular practitioner.

Kirtan is the practice of congregational chanting of the holy names of Lord Krishna, accompanied by traditional musical instruments like the harmonium, mridanga, and kartals. It is a deeply spiritual experience that cleanses the heart, uplifts the soul, and connects us with the Supreme Lord.

What to Expect:

  • Soul-stirring kirtan led by experienced devotees.
  • An opportunity to sing, dance, and meditate in the association of like-minded spiritual seekers.
  • A warm and welcoming environment for families, friends, and individuals of all ages.

Followed by Prasadam

After the kirtan, enjoy a delicious vegetarian feast (prasadam) lovingly prepared and offered to Lord Krishna.
